2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by [NAME UND ANSCHRIFT DES HOSTERS EINSETZEN]. When you visit the site, the server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after [ANZAHL] days at the latest. We have concluded a data processing agreement with our host.

3. Cookies, fonts and tracking

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you. Our fonts are hosted on our own server; no connection to Google or other font providers is made.

4. Readers’ list (newsletter)

If you join our readers’ list, we process your email address to send you news about our books. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). We use the double opt-in procedure: you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to us; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We use MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ground Floor, 71 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, D02 P593, Ireland) to send our emails. MailerLite processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We store your data until you unsubscribe.

5. Links to Amazon

Our “Buy” buttons link to Amazon. No data is transferred to Amazon until you click such a link. After that, Amazon’s own privacy policy applies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (LfDI BW).
